I'm Vicki and I am fairly new to RVing having purchased a Class A Fleetwood a year ago September. In that year I've made a lot of new friends and taken some wonderful trips in my doll house on wheels. I usually travel with two of the four dogs that are currently in residence. I have made sure that each month the RV and I are at a site somewhere.

I retired three years ago from HP and haven't had a dull moment since. My best friend from high school loves to travel as much as I do and we've made at least one three week trip each year and she has joined me a few times in the RV. She and her husband have had an RV for years and watching them got to me thinking that might be a real fun thing to do.

I love to read, cook, take photos, play with my two grandchildren aged 6 and 2 1/2. Life is very, very good.

If any of you are in my neighborhood get in touch and we'll get together. I live just north of Houston and south of The Woodlands and Conroe.

Welcome to our campfire circle! I am so glad you want to be with us,...we want YOU here!

I missed saying welcome early as on Sat. evenings I have a different routine and spend some time with some music shows. Just know you are most welcome into our group and we look forward to meeting you on the road!

Vicki, a big, ol' forum welcome to you.
We'll look forward to getting to know you better.

And just so you know - there's another Vickie here who's a real pest.
We DO NOT want to get the two of you corn-fused, so just note, this new NICE Vicki
does not have an E at the end of her name like the mean one, VickiE.

I can prove she's mean, too...see below...(this sign was just hanging around the internet and it definitely refers to OUR VickiE, honest.)

Well, anyway - we're all glad you're here.
Jump right in and post anything you want!

Hi Vicki,

I've stayed in Spring and have a dear friend who lives in Huntsville - so have been to that neck of the woods. This coming spring, though, I'll be spending March on the gulf - and have a gtg (get together) planned for boondocking near Port Lavaca early April. Check out the GTG room and we'd love to have you join us.

There are several members who winter in Hill Country - and if you desire, I know you could meet up with them at almost any time with little notice.

We are a friendly and nosy group - glad to have you with us - and join in the fun here anytime, all the time :)

Slightly late, but another big welcome to the forum. It's a great place to meet, learn, vent, laugh and cry at times - always worthwhile.
