Hello from Texas

Hi Girls,

I've been missing some of my old friends and met some new sisters this week! I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Karen and Tina, and along with PattyK we had a terrific visit :) I'm Sharon originally from PA. I left there a year ago this month to full time as a traveling nurse. My rig is a Class B Roadtrek Sprinter Van, hence the nick ;) I also acquired a new scooter toad in April, despite not wanting to tow. But it's been a awesome addition at 60 mpg, and way too much fun! :) I'm currently working in Kerrville, TX for the winter. So if anyone is passing through, just give us a holler and we'll have an instant gtg with Karen right down the street! Thanks for having me :)

Love,
Sharon

Hello there Sprinter Sharon, welcome
now, tell me, how do you haul that Scooter in the Roadtrek? Inside or
on the bumper? I'm curious about that.

WELCOME, SHARON!!

Very nice to meet you, and hope to meet you in person somewhere on the road when I retire. I LOVE your beautiful scooter.....and YES....how do you tow it, or pack it, or whatever you do? 60 mph is a good speed for the roads!

HI Sharon - Long time since we met in PA - glad to see you here. I miss my scooter - and I bet that's great for getting to and from work without having to hook/unhook every day. Love it. You don't get quite the mpg I did - but yours is bigger, too. You towing it? What I like about scooters, is that you can get the hitch racks and still not have to tow. I will get another one -

I'm stuck on your scooter - off it I go - and again, glad you came over - good to see you again.

Thank you all for your kind welcomes :)

Now don't laugh, but I haul my scooter on a Trailer in a Bag! lol http://www.trailerinabag.com I wanted a hitch carrier, but between the weight of that, and my scooter with gas and oil, I was approaching my 500# hitch weight limit and I didn't want to jeopardize my rear suspension. I considered an enclosed carrier, but often times parks won't let you keep them on your site and they are bulky.

This trailer is made of construction steel and is able to haul full dressers. It pins together in 3 ft pieces and I can maneuver it around by myself. You just drive the scooter up the ramp and it seats in a wheel chock. Then just get off and tie it down. I tested it out last week for a rally down in San Antonio, and it worked flawlessly. When I got home, I took it apart and put it back in it's bag under my couch in the back of my rig. So it's not sitting around my site when I'm not using it. I'm really pleased with it. And by the way, Disclaimer: I have no interest in this company, other than they make a great product :)

Have a great day!

Love,
Sharon
