Welcome Cathy!

Thanks for posting your introduction,... it gives us a chance to stretch that campfire circle out, put a chair in for you and welcome you to our circle.

It sounds like you and your DH have it all figured out on how to enjoy your rv life. Good for you! We'd all love to see pics of where you are, your rig, and of course,.... you! :D

Welcome Cathy, where have you workamped? I started off at a Lodge on the North Rim, swore I'd never be back. Then I had a disatrous experience with alcoholic bosses in South Dakota, left there and was worked to death being a camp host for the
Forest Service. From there went back to the Lodge for two months to finish their season and got talked into coming back. So this is the third year I've worked here. SURELY nest year I'll do something else! I don't think I'll rejoin Workamer, certainly not as an Awesome Applicant. It costs extra to post your resume and I've never had a decent job offered to me. I clearly state I do Front Desk and Reservations and all I got was a call from a guy looking for a housekeeper. Aren't they all? Another was from a Llama Farm. On talking to the woman I realised I was going to be her entertainment for the winter, so I passed.
Any stories Cathy?

OK, so here's a picture of Cathy getting her official Flamingo wineglass. Believe me I caused some comments walking thru the campground with my Flamingo headband and eyeglasses.

Welcome to the Forum, Cathy. I'm sure Karen warned you about us, so if you decided to join anyways-BE PREPARED  Looking forward to hearing about your adventures and workkamping experiences. We've sure had some doozy stories (is that word still around???) and hopefully will have a lot more. For sure, BORING, is not one of our adjectives. carold
