Hi all! This is my first post. I've been trying to do this for about 2 months, can't believe that it is the end of August already. It has been a very busy summer! I don't have my own RV, but one of my friends does. It is on a permanent site in a campground in southern PA. And I love to stay there and 'help' her with decorating, hanging lights, planting flowers and whatever else needs to be done. So far she hasn't booted me out yet!

Thanks to Lori, I think she goes by grannyrv, she is the one who introduced me to this group. She is an expert when it comes to rv's, and helped me put up the 'tacky lights' at my friend, Margie's, camper!

I love to travel, even if it isn't in an RV. Last spring we visited Lori and Ernie in Savannah. It was wonderful! I had a great time. There we met, Beth and Marilyn. They were down for a visit also. I think Beth is still running around Alaska, the last that I heard. Margie and I went to Alaska this past June and we both just loved it. I hope Beth is having as wonderful a time as we did!

Well, I must run. Hope to be back on here in the near future. Thanks for listening!

WELCOME PAM AND BUTTONS!

Nice to meet you, Pam, and can't wait to see some pics of you and your kitty----my cat, Twitch, who is 22 years old and still hobbling around, wants to know how old is Buttons?

It sounds as if you have a great place to hang out in your friend's RV, and, who knows, after joining this group, maybe you will get your own rig some day soon! We have a bunch of women who don't have rigs yet, and some who live in them but don't have a tow vehicle yet, and some who never park long enough to even have an address!

You will love this group---I sure do! Hope to meet you down the road when I retire from my teaching job next June.

Welcome Pam! (and Buttons, too!)

I'm so glad that you posted your introduction, pull up a chair to the campfire circle and settle in! I look forward to hearing more about your travels and your search for that perfect camper. And thanks to Lori for suggesting that you join us! :D

I'm not far north of you here in the Adirondacks, however I won't be able to attend the PA GTG as I'm working two jobs in every fall, but maybe some where along the way we can meetup.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome, Pam and Buttons! You'll learn and giggle here - two good things, in my opinion!

WooooHOOOO!!!!! Pam finally made it here!! ;) She sure has had a tough time with her internet to join us, but she "done did it".... :D

I don't know if I am an "expert" on Rving, but I do like my "tacky lights" passion..... ;) And I think we're making head way on convincing Margie that lights make a campsite!!! ;)

I know you are taking time reading the posts here, Pam....You'll find that this is a great bunch of fun-loving, informative, ladies (and a few "other halves" thrown in here and there...like Ernie.. ;) ) We also support each other in our "ups and downs" in life.....It truly is a "Sisterhood"!!! And yes, you never know, an RV of your very own maybe in your future.... ;)

Okay, take a seat at the "Campfire" thread in General Talk or anywhere you want to jump in....and have fun!!

BTW, all........Pam and Margie are joining us at the PA GTG, at least for a day visit, maybe more..... ;) And I sure will take photos..... ;)

Welcome Pam and Buttons. Glad Lori talked you into checking us out. Maybe by hanging out with us you'll get the RV bug, too. In the meantime, enjoy and join right in.

Welcome to The Forum. Lori and Ernie must have told you all about us, and STILL you decided to jump in.  Well, if I say so myself, you've come across a great group of women who are funny, enlightening, honest, caring and don't mind getting into a little trouble (or a lot). Looking forward to hearing from you-and as you can see from some of our topics, we aren't too picky  :D carold

Hope to see you again one of these days.
