Hi all, I'm Deirdre.

I have been planning on transitioning from a house to an RV for a few years now. About a month ago I finally purchased a 20' travel trailer, which I am in the process of remodeling (as well as repairing the floor in the bathroom which was rotting out). I'll be static for a while when I move in, but once I settle into the change, I'll begin the actual travel part of RVing.

I look forward to participating in the forum!

Hoosier Welcome :D

Deirdre, found your blog http://waywardcrow.org/ . Be careful not to reuse insulation that was in a wet or moldy area.

This looks very similar to your camper? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkD90kr4AQk Looks to be comfortable when you're done making it yours.

As for cooking there's Dutch Oven cooking over a fire. Meat cooked over a fire always tastes better

Thanks for the advice, Melissa :) I'm probably going to replace the old insulation with foam insulation (the kind I tore out is the old yellow fibreglass kind).

I'm a huge fan of dutch ovens (and iron skillets).

Yes, that is exactly my trailer! Funny, that's the only info I have ever been able to find on my model. I bought mine from a friend for a ridiculoulsy reasonable price, and thankfully she still had all the original paperwork and the title.
