Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm Kat with my black Lab, Indi.

Right now, I'm still working. I just purchased 2004 Arrow Pace 37'. Dreams are that when I retire in a year or so, that I'll go full-time and live in that 37'!

Dilemma is my house...sell or keep?

Pros: Almost paid for, place to return, place to storage  .
Cons: getting rid of precious memories! :( in order to fit in the 37'!

Welcome Kat & Indi, from the midwest.
Hooray for you on moving towards your dream with the purchase of your rig. Tough decision on the house - just give it some time & see what feels right for you.
Hope to meet you both down the road.
Catherine

you when the time comes. Looking forward to reading of your adventures as you explore with that 37' of dream.

When I went fulltime I put my house in a realtor's hands to rent and he managed it while I was gone. Put my stuff in storage for three years. The house paid for itself while I was making up my mind so I didn't feel like I had burned my bridges. I ended up deciding I wanted a base to return to but I did sell the house (too much upkeep with the yard, etc) and bought a mobile home with much less upkeep so I didn't come home to a big yard to maintain.

Northern CA welcome. I think it's a good idea to keep the house and travel and eventually you will know the right decision for yourself. Happy travels.

Welcome, Kat, from WA state. Keep the house for awhile; you might not like full-timing.

Welcome Kat from the central coast of CA. Enjoy your travels. You might be glad you kept your house as a place to return to or maybe not. It is a pain to pack up everything, weed out, etc. though. You will know. Have fun

Welcome to the forum. Valuable memories are those we keep forever.....but stuff and things....sometimes we discover it is time to let them go and travel lighter through the world. Everyone has to sort through those decisions individually. :)

Greetings from another MIchigander. I'm up in the north near Gaylord. Glad to have you aboard. Sounds like you have a good start on your dream.

Know well that house dilemma. On the fence here too. Ever get up this way, give me a holler. I camp a lot at Aloha State Park near Cheboygan when I am not in the U.P.
