Hello. Have been reading, enjoying and learning so much from all of your postings. Would like to start out by thanking all of you for the time spent providing so much assistance!
Have been wanting to experience the “RV lifestyle” since I retired about five years ago. We, Bob (hubby) and I, have always enjoyed road trips and had conversion vans when the kids where young. Bob uses a scooter about 90% of the time. We rented an RV (as a trial) and Bob found the RV limiting. Then 2014 hit and I decided I really wanted to travel the US even if it was part-time and often alone. So Bob will join me perhaps 50% of the time.
After MUCH research took ownership of a 35’ Winnebago Adventurer in April and so far so good. A little big but gives Bob the space he needs. Bob and I have the experience of two trips (Smokies, Florida Key’s) and one Winnie rally. This MH is aptly named as every trip has been an adventure… I do not think I will ever learn everything I need to know but I will keep trying. It has been a whirlwind as I have dedicated so much time to this new endeavor… manuals, classes, getting my new “home” ready, etc. prior to my first solo trip in July.
Looking forward to hearing from all and most importantly meeting you whether in your local or mine, Odessa, Florida. Thanks again for all your advice!
