Well my search has begun for my new home on wheels. The choices are overwhelmingly vast. Starting a journal, a timetable of sorts, to put my rving life's plan in place.

I welcome advice.

Welcome, this is a great place to start.

I'm 46 and actually retired 10 years ago from corrections after a career ending knee injury. My kids are grown and I've, over the past year have been working in a fabric store. I'm nearing putting in my notice which is going to be difficult to do. I've spent a lot of years thinking about rving more time out of the year than not. Semi fulltime to begin with. I'm very independent but this journey seems daunting. My kids are supportive and are ncouraging me to "just do it".

So, I want to take my modern quilting on the road, selling and making gifts....

Welcome to the forum. Research research and go look at and in as many rigs you can. You will find room to take what ever is most important to you....

Might want to look at the toy haulers (TH). Many find the "garage" area makes a good off/workspace. There are Class A's, 5er's and TT's in TH configurations.

Welcome - so many choices out there. You have to decide what type of traveling you want to do and then fit the rig into that and your lifestyle. Daunting, maybe, but the best thing to do

And we'll be glad to help with suggestions and ideas every step of the way. We all like spending everyone else's money.

Welcome to the forum from Illinois Michelle. Absolutely go into as many as you can. I'd like to (some day) RV full time and am leaning towards a C or A class, but none have 'hit' me yet. Then walked into a TT and loved it, but not bought yet (maybe next year). I'd still do the C or A for retirement, but a TT seems like a good option for me right now because I could weekend in it and learn (so much stuff!) so in time, I wouldn't be so clueless.

Welcome Michelle, I have a friend who is an excellent quilter, and, a full timer! She has adapted her class A to her quilting, but said she would like a toy hauler. Take time to look at many styles. My daughter is a quilter also, but still working full time as a school teacher. Lyn
