New from Colorado

So I've been reading rv forums while I wait for my new camper to be built. It's a Coach House Platinum 232. Yay! Two months is a loong time. I previously had a tiny travel trailer that I sold to make room for the motorhome.

It will be so nice to get my two unruly Goldens attached to their leashes before we step outside. They get really excited when we travel and try to jump out of the Jeep before they're attached. Makes for an interesting struggle at rest areas.

Anyway I'm not retired yet so I just take short trips for now. The camper will be getting alot of use at trap matches and other daytime activities.

Anyway it looks like you have a great group here. I mostly lurk, but post occasionally.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 2002 23' Coach House Platinum motorhome and I love it. Would sure like to order a new one but my husband doesn't think I need one. I look at their web site at least once a week. My camper has 2 electric sofas. I travel with my sister sometimes and we can only put the sofas part way down or we couldn't get to the bathroom. I would like to have the one with the twin beds and the sofa with a slide out.

That one is very nice. Now that I've ordered mine I have to be very careful I don't pick a different one :-)

Hoosier Welcome :D

I too Googled your rig  Are you a XL FD or a FS? Looks like a fun size. Perhaps we'll see you down the road so check out the get together section to see if anything is happening around you.

It's the front dinette. Figured I could use the counter space.

Welcome to the family Tessa! When going for a walk, I have to exit backwards to keep the puppies from leaping out the door  so many scents and things to see on camping trips. Post some pics of your golden babies.

Welcome, Tessa. Where in CO are you? I'm going to visit my sister out there next month so if you are close enough maybe we can get together for coffee or lunch. I'll be SE of Denver. I sure understand what you mean about your babies wanting out! My guys are the same way, hurry, hurry! Just have to slow them down enough so they don't drag me out the door. We're working on that one! Look forward to hearing about your adventures.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Othersharon, I'm near Loveland. Unfortunately, for medical reasons, I am on an extremely strict diet and cannot eat out. It's one of the reasons I'm getting this motor home. So I can bring a kitchen and bathroom with me whenever I go out to do something fun. Seeing other people eat good food is not easy. I love food!
