I am so glad to have found this forum for women!

I purchased my first RV, a 2003 Class A, 25 foot Gulfstream last August. I am a single woman, late 50s [very late]. I have been out a few times by myself, and have a few trips planned this season.

A girlfriend and I became believers after hearing about sisters on the fly, and did lots of research. She got a vintage 1970s trailer that she is renovating, but I wanted a baby bus because most of my family lives east, and I wanted a reliable single vehicle to be able to throw the doggies in the same space as me. Also, I feel safer when traveling alone.

I had an RV repair guy get my baby ready for the season, and train me at the same time. We went over all the systems. It took 5 hours but I feel very confident in my ability to handle my baby girl on my own now! Now it's time to explore!!! All the best to every one of you!

Welcome to the forum. Your plan to have the rig gone over and get your "Boot Camp" training at the same time seems like a good use of time and money. Hope to meet you down the road.

A big Michigan welcome to you. I'm sure you will enjoy driving your new "baby" around the country and meeting up with those of us along the way. Maybe see you in Michigan sometime or on the road.
