Hi everyone.

Just wanted to introduce myself (Diane), my partner of 13 years Martha aka Marty and our two small babies shadow and murphy (two lhasa apso). In october of last year, we sold our house and bought a roadtrek rs adventurous and have been living in it ever since!

We spent the winter in California, came back up to BC at the end of march and will be going across canada in june. I am happy to have found this forum as we are two women on the road and it is good to hear that other women are living this too. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum. I am excited for you both and hope you will share some of your adventures with us. Especially the journey across Canada....I have been through so little of Canada. Just what I saw on the way to and from Alaska. Show us all what we are missing!

Welcome Diane & Marty from Illinois. Ditto what Birdy said - show us Canada and give us (at least me) other places to see once I get on the road.

Hoosier Welcome Diane & Marty :D

Two in a Roadtrek has to be cozy  Phoenix and I have a "little camper" as she calls it and we can still get in each others way

I've always enjoyed my trips north. I like Nova Scotia's and Newfoundland. Have a cousin who lives in Saskatoon? in Saskatchewan. Got detained at the BC boarder once. That's a camp fire story :?

Hello welcome :)

and yes the little camper is too small I would need a third bedroom if we were full timing. As it is I have no room for my crafting in the camper LOL barely have room in the house LOL

Thank you all for your warm welcome. :)

I will definitely share this up coming trip with you when we leave.

For those of you who wonders about the lack of space in the roadtrek i have to say that you are right we have very little space but we bought this for its drivability (this little rig drives like a big pick up). We are learning to stay out of each others way and I tell you the dogs are getting a lot more walking!

When we started on this trip we had never ever even camped in an rv so it has been quite a learning adventure! I can report tho that after 6 months we are starting to really enjoy it (although i do admit i would like some more space at times but i don't want to give up how easy this is to drive so we have to compromise).

When i can figure this out i will put up pictures...in the meantime thank you again for the welcomes!

Welcome! My honey and I considered an RT for fulltiming but we're on the fence, she likes the drive-ability of one But I'm 5'10" and don't enjoy banging my head on things. ;)

Thank you to all for the warm welcome...

Queen, we have the RS adventurous, it is built on the mercedes sprinter, have you walked in it? The say someone 6 foot 3 should be able to walk in no problem. We have no problem both being 5 foot 4. If you havent yet seen it, it's worth a look. :)
