Hi everyone and thanks for adding me to the forum! I'm GingerK and I love to camp in my 1993 Shadow Cruiser pop up TC on my Ram 2500 quadcab. I originally looked at pop up TCs many years ago thinking at the time how neat they would be. Fast forward to 3 yrs. ago, I finally bought one; a 1993 Palomino Bronco. It wasn't in the best shape but it worked well for the first couple of years. But age and my own inability to repair things finally took it's toll on the Palomino and I let it go to someone who could do the repairs.

A year ago, I found my SC on Ebay classifieds and after corresponding with the seller, bought it. What a great guy! He helped load it on my truck and just couldn't have been nicer! The SC was in terrific shape for it's age, only problem was the refrig didn't work. Everything else was fine. Back to Ebay, found a replacement frig and after some hard work getting the old one out and the new one in (what a nightmare!) we were good to go!

I originally decided on the pop up TC because I plan on pulling my horse trailer for horse camping and wanted somewhere nicer than a tent to sleep. I love the fact that there's not a lot overhead so you don't feel like you are in danger of tipping over! My Ram was ordered with the towing package so it already had the heavier suspension, cooling, etc. and handles the SC with ease. Hardly know it's there.

My best friend and I and sometimes her black Lab went out 5 times last year and hope to get out even more this year. Because I run my own business, sometimes it's not easy to get away but I manage. We're planning a week in Branson and I can't wait!

Welcome to the forum. What area of the country are you from? Be sure to check the gtg thread to see what might be happening in your neck of huge woods. You can post on the member map tread requesting to be placed on the map if you dare! Then if anyone is traveling through your area they might know to send you a PM. If you have a flat driveway and access to some eclectic you might be surprised how popular you could be!
