Welcome from Texas. I'm a newbie, so you can't learn anything from me, but the experienced members will show up soon to welcome you. You're in the right place to learn about RVing and lots of other stuff, too.

you've certainly landed in the right place to learn the rv stuff, and reading old threads is a good start and then just start askin away
Will you be traveling by yourself? retired? pets? We are a nosy bunch too
But we do love stories and pictures and even the smallest gtg's
(get togethers) count and its usually all about the food

Wow! I wasn't expecting so many responses so soon. I don't have an RV yet, but I'm looking. I will be traveling alone with a dog. I don't need much, so I'm looking at a Class B right now. The big RVs are intimidating to me, to tell you the truth.
Can't wait to read through some old threads.

I'm from upstate New York, but I unfortunately now live in central California. Can't wait to get out of here.

Haha, all the Californians aren't going to understand that - they think it's perfect here. I say here because I'm working in CA until Christmas. There is good and bad everywhere ... but mostly I look for the good if I can.
Glad to have you with us. Have fun with your search and if we can help, ask away.

California definitely isn't perfect.
However, it
is more perfect than anywhere else.

Welcome Susan!
Oh my, I'm in upstate NY! Born here, moved to CA in the mid 1950's (no choice, I was 4 & had to go with family
), returned to NY 9 yrs ago. I have a class B, travel with 3 dogs! G'grief, are there some similarities here
! And where in central CA are you now? I'll be out there this winter
I hope you can get on the road soon, but til then, this is the place for great info & great friends!!!
