Hi, I've really been enjoying your forum so thought I had better introduce myself. My name is Cheryl and I am a veterinarian and a new empty nester. We have always loved camping but just recently got our motorhome, a 2000 39' Damen escaper DP and so far really enjoying it. We are in Maryland so have done some close by trips: Shenandoah NP, Assateague NP, Blackwater Falls State Park in WV. We have another trip planned in a few weeks to Sinnemahonging State Park in PA, really looking forward to hearing the elk bugling! Hope to do a lot more exploring soon. Thanks for this wonderful site.

Birdbybird- not retired yet,still have 2 kids in college but hopefully soon. I only work 2- 3 days a week so have lots of time for short trips. They'll have to hold me over for now

Welcome, Cheryl....we have been by Sinnemahonging State Park a few times on our way to visit family in McKean County where I grew up....have never stopped there, but it does look nice from the road.... Enjoy yourself there and as you know by now, don't forget to post photos...
