Never know what to say so here's the basics. I have a friend that has lived with me for 10 years now and about 2 years ago her grand daughter came to live with use at the ripe ole age of 6 months. There is a reason we have kids at 20 and not 50..... We it was decided that the child needed to experience certain things or experiences we grew up with. Well that lead to a membership in a RV Resort which we enjoy but cabins are like glorified hotel rooms to me and that lead to the idea of a trailer. Well due to certain health issues and the little one, not to mention I'm 6' we ended up buying a 5th wheel (2012 Sundance 3100RB). That lead to a new pickup truck (not that I need much reason to buy a pickup :D Well then the 2004 F350 would not fit in the garage and I had to add a new driveway to park it. Kind of feels like a rolling stone. Anyways, lots to learn but we are enjoying it very much. Have a 1,600 mile trip planned this summer to go visit my daughters that should be an adventure. I drive semi's for a living so the driving part does not bother me. There is a culture to the campground and many interesting people to meet. I guess that's the real adventure.

Welcome to the forum. It is a snowball sort of effect....but it is also a willingness to be open to new possibilities that you might not have originally thought of! :) That is the fun part of these adventures at any time in our lives but particularly when we are experienced enough to know that maybe we should stop saying "one day" and just go for it! Time is precious and some memories priceless!
