Hi everyone! I am in the process of purchasing my first RV, a 23' Keystone Outback toy hauler. Should be picking it up by the end of the week.
I am taking my Triumph America motorcycle and my two dogs to Cali to visit my eldest daughter and her son, my first grandbaby!
I am 57 and recently (as in, last week) separated from my husband of 32 years. We have been campers since wwaaaay back, but this is the first time in an RV; so I have ALOT to learn. I hope to meet some of you people, and also to get lots of help and pointers.

The sights asking interstates are pretty much the same. You might want to look at some of the non interstates one time.

Hi, Sandy. I'm a newbie currently bound for CA to see my daughter and grandson, too. I finally got on the road, but I'm still in the Tallahassee area (at a great small campground that is probably spoiling me!), waiting until the weekend when my son is going bike shopping with me - but, alas, a bicycle, not a motorcycle. I've driven the Southern route by car before, and temps are already up to 100 in the Phoenix area, so I, too, am going to take the more northern route, probably near I-40, but like Bethers does, on US routes instead of the interstate, altho I may hope on it for stretches. This is just my second night in my class c motor home, and I'm already loving it! How great it is to be in my own bed, in my own space!

So welcome! Where are you leaving from and when? We can maybe share info and tips while we"re both going the same direction. I'm headed south to San Diego, specifically.
