2nd generation fulltimer

Come on in and say hello.

2nd generation fulltimer

Postby quilter2go » Mon Mar 18, 2013 7:23 am

Hi, Neighbors!
We've been fulltime nearly 3 1/2 years in our 2002 Class A, but had owned a Class C which we used continuously for 23 years before that. My parents fulltimed for over 12 years after they retired, so we :) had a good idea of what to expect. From their experience, we knew we wanted to sell the house & stuff. We've been happy with that decision, but find fulltiming very different and are constantly learning.

Love quilting and all types of crafting. This year will be our first to cover a lot of miles as we'll be spending the year in a slow loop west, staying mostly to the east of the Rockies. Happy to find this group and have enjoyed reading your posts the past few days.

Welcome to the forum. If you are planning to be on the move a lot this year, check out the GTG thread for possible gathering and if you don't find any that fit your travel schedule you can always PM folks in the area you are heading through. Get togethers can refer to anything from camping and/or traveling together to meeting for lunch as you fly by on the interstate. :o  It is all good! If you haven't already picked up on the information, there are several adventurers here that have more more sewing and quilting equipment and supplies on board than the rest of us knew was possible. But then we all make room for the important stuff!
