Wooohooo, and congrats.

For posting pics - you can find info on it - the first thread in the maintenance/tech room. I think most of us use Photobucket (free) but there are other programs you can use also - as long as they give you direct link codes to post.

Welcome aboard. I love RV shopping too and did a lot before I made my purchase. Or at least what was within in reason up nere in northern Michigan where there aren't too many dealers. Looked at a lot in dealers lots, compared, analyized, askes a lot of questions on this site, got lots of helpful information and finally found one that called "home". A small little 18 ft. Rockwood Mini Lite. I had never pulled a TT before, so didn't want to go big right off the bat. I love this trailer and Rockwood's workmanship is of good quality.

Since I work summers at one of our local State Parks here in Michigan, I only go camping on my days off and such, but am hoping this year to be able to take a couple of small trips to see how I like pulling the TT farther from home. I have sized up 5ers and love the floor plans with the recliners in the back. Don't know as yet if I would want to get one or not. But right now I have my eye on Springdale, no bigger than 24 ft or so. Big enough for one person and two "fur kids".

This past summer I purchased a new pickup after my lease was up on my old one and ordered one for trailer towing. Although it's a half ton, I got the bigger 6.2 engine along with the other bells nd whistles for trailer towing. It can also haul a 5er if I want.

But gosh, put an RV show in front of me and I"m going to be there. Such fun. Enjoy looking and looking. Let us know what you decide on. And like the others said, we want pictures!

Hello and Welcome...I think I musta been asleep when you first posted--I missed it initially. Congratulations on the new baby! Can't wait until she's ready and you can take us on a virtual tour! Pictures, pictures, pictures, or we'll just keep ragging on you until you post!

I am a brand new owner myself. I have a 30C Aspect Class C. I, too, had a must haves list that started with under 26 feet, diesel engine, and a walk around bed. I ended up with the walk around bed! HA!!!  Mine is 30 ft long with three slides, and it is powered by a gas-engine (F-450 van front end). I haven't taken her anywhere but Costco and friends' houses so far, but once the weather gets warmer, I'm planning on shake down runs on the weekends in the Spring. I can't wait to actually take her out overnight.

We are a crazy group of women who have ideas, suggestions, shoulders on which to lean, and who have a lot of fun on this forum. You will get lots of advice and help, and occasionally grief from Mitch! But if you have a question or concern, ask it here, cuz someone will have an answer for sure. So glad you joined...and again, post pics once you take ownership! :D :D

Hi, somehow I missed this post. I'm wintering in Sarasota but will be gone the 1st 2 weeks in February. Lived in Tampa for over 30 years until we retired and started traveling full time. I do believe we have another member that lives there also, or maybe near Brandon. If you want, contact me when I return. Congratulations on your new home :D :D carold
