Welcome Michelle,

You sound like you have a plan. Whether or not it works remains to be seen, but we never know till we try. I'm fighting the same thing here. I have a bigger home than I need and would have more income if I downsized, but I also want to travel and when one has a home, there are always things needed attention so you have to hire somebody to mow grass and keep things looking nice in summer or plow snow in winter for you. More $$$ out the window. I'm trying to decide myself what to do, but my gut instincts is telling me to sell and follow my dreams. Like Tina said, we have no guarantees as we get older. We can either take the plunge or later say "If only". Now if I would just follow my own advice
