Hello from bc canada

Hello, so glad to be here, when I searched for a womens rv site and found one I was very thrilled, I figured nobody would understand how it feels to be venturing out on your own except another woman doing it, I think I can feel safe while in my rv the scarey thing is breaking down in the middle of nowhere, hope that never happens. I will be travelling with 3 small dogs, 2 of which are barkey pups, they have a new adventure coming up and better learn to be quiete while mommy learns to drive the big rig, I bought a 37ft london aire she's an old girl 1987 hope to upgrade to a newer year in a few years but for now its me and the old girl out there on those bc hills hope she doesn't let me down. I will also be travelling with my 24 year old handicapeable son and my 86 year old grama, we are just out for adventure hubby works in the trucking ind. at a mine up north , he's never home so we will have to make fun for ourselves . Hope to make lots of good memories, first thing I did was paint one wall lilac colored and add a few cool sayings and some flowers and birds, I'll post a pic of it soon, I think I'll make a memory wall too of pics of our journeys, I have a journal in my glovey I hope to write in when I'm not busy, got new quilts for the beds and lots of dvds and cards and dice and snacks lol, just need my breaks done next week and then we are off on our first journey, grama has althzeimers so she doesn't really understand that we are going camping but she loves to sight see and travel it sure beats sitting around. I have 3 other children and a grand son 3 yrs old and a new grandbaby on the way my daughter goes for her first ultrasound today so exciting. Our first trip we are headed to Summit lake in Prince George bc , I bought a big party tent no crazy tarping off my rain free site just put up the big thing and I'll have a great rain free area, probably look like the most ecsentric camping site ever but thats me , love to be crazy and love to stare off into the stars while the campfire crackles, so happy to be here I hope to make great friends with all of you.

Welcome and so glad to have you with us. I love the way you'll be camping and those you'll be sharing the adventure with. I've often wished I started doing this before my Mom died. I think she would have loved taking trips with me in the rv. I don't think she'd have wanted to live in it full-time like I do, but would have been so great to take her on some adventures. Build those memories! I have some pictures on my wall here in the rv. They are in sleeves and I can switch them out when I want different ones. And, yes, keep some kind of journal. I think you'll be glad you did.

Welcome to the forum. It won't be long, maybe you will start your own blog, too! As you will discover many here have and they are chock full of memories......I just haven't gotten there myself yet. Thank you for your comments they are very warming to my heart makes me see I'm going to have some great ladies to share stories with, and the sleeve idea for photos is great do you have pics of your wall I would love to see your rv pics and your fur babies who ever has some, its nice to have a little furry friend that is just waiting with curious eyes to see where mommy will let them out next , every bathroom visit is a new adventure, I really can't wait to get on the road I will have more time to spend with pups and son and grama without the everyday household stuff one does.

Sounds like you will be having quite the adventure with all of you traveling in your RV! You will love this group! Especially if you have a good sense of humor! We all love dogs (and cats) on here. There is a Pets thread that has pics of our critters, and that is where you can post pics of yours.
