Newbie Traveling Artist

Come on in and say hello.

Newbie Traveling Artist

Postby MojitoMama » Wed Oct 21, 2009 7:56 pm

Hi Everyone,
I'm an artist living in Florida and hubby and I have decided to get a travel trailer so that he can accompany me to out-of-town art shows and bring the dogs (a soft-coated wheaten and a mini-schnauzer). We have a Rockwood 1809S travel trailer on order and will pick it up next month. I will be doing most of the driving and work on the trailer, so you all have given me confidence that if you can do it, I can too. I have a few questions, but will post them in the other topics where they would be more appropriate.

Just wanted to say hi - looking forward to getting on the road!

Welcome MM, yep, the learning is in the doing although that won't keep any of us from giving you our 2 cents worth  What type of art do you do?? There is a FL GTG planned for January, so you might want to look at the GTG section for more information. Where in FL are you?? I'm in Sarasota for the winter and others are scattered around. Looking forward to more info and pics. carold

Welcome Robin. What kind of art do you do? Painting, crafts? Having a TT will be great for art fairs. It will help keep the expenses down, allow you to have your puppies with you and of course your hubby as well. It's a great mix. Sounds like you are in for some adventures. Congrats on the new TT. Hi Robin, Glad to have you with us. Sorry to be late with my hellos, but, unfortunately, I can't get on here everyday like I used to - but I do want to welcome you and hope that you read often and jump in anywhere/anywhere - please.
