Hello from Pennsylvania

Come on in and say hello.

Hello from Pennsylvania

Postby Ackcminnie » Wed Jan 29, 2014 3:04 pm

I have been browsing this forum ever since I discovered it and What A Blessing!!! I needed to finally introduce myself and say hello and Thank You!! I am from the Amish country area of southeastern Pa. My husband and I have a used 31ft. class C, Winnebago Minnie. He is not retired yet, but we have summers off. When we lived in California, we bought our first rv and got hooked!! It was a little Toyota Dolphin, "flea with an elephant" on its back, 20 ft long and we had the very best of times crisscrossing the states to this area where the family is. Finally moved back here, weren't able to travel but now we just jumped back into it because it never "leaves your blood" . Whenever we are not able to get out because of the weather here, we just go in and sit in it and have our coffee and make plans for this summer.

I wanted to especially thank JudyJB...you brought the Michelin recall to attention, I checked our tires and sure enough...they were part of the recall. Also your posts about campgrounds are so informative., I take it all in and keep record. My husband is also a college professor and I pray that someday he too could teach an online class! I have learned so much from your blogs and I appreciate all the info that you all share!! Karen

Hello and welcome from Central PA. Guess there's a bunch of us drinking coffee and dreaming of getting out this summer! Maybe we'll meet up somewhere down the road!

A quick note to Thank You one and all for the warm welcome you have shared!! What a great group. This forum is addictive...where else can you find such a friendly, sincere group all in one "spot"?? I am so blessed. There is nothing better than finding "like minded" people to share fellowship with. While it may be just online for now....Lord willing, in the future I may meet you and share in your fun. As we have traveled in the past ,we have found that there is something special about those who love to spend time in an rv. A unique group we are! Thank you again and looking forward to being part of this group.
