Welcome, glad to have you with us.

We have a gtg happening in TX the first week of March. Check the get together room and see if you might be able to join us :)

Also, check the recipe room - LOTS of crockpot recipes have been posted. And there are lots of things that can be converted into crockpot recipes, also.

Hi and welcome. My two favorite crock pot recipes are easy easy easy.

Chop some celery and carrots and place in the crock pot. Put a couple of boneless chicken breasts on top and pour some dry white wine over the top. Cook on slow temp.

Brown a roast in the skillet, then place in your crock pot. Pour 1/2 small bottle Italian salad dressing over the roast and cook on low.

Cannot remember the cooking time on either, but it was at least 4-5 hours. In both recipes, the meat turns out very tender and moist.

Hey Texan welcome. What area are you located at here in this great little state? I am north of San Antonio at Potter's Creek, a COE campground. Spent time this summer/fall at Victoria, Seadrift, Aransas(s), Corpus Chisti and places!

Crockpot meals area nice. I do my chilli in the pot after I brown the meat. Same for anything that I mix veggies with - brown/sear the meat and the pop in the crock pot. Soups and stews also go into the pot.

Glad to have you on board.

Welcome to WRC. I can't offer much on the crockpot recipes, just know that the ones mentioned sound really good. I buy wine more for cooking than drinking. I usually sip while cooking when the bottle is fresh opened. After that it is cooking wine :) I'm in Arkansas, hope to meet you somewhere out there.

Hi there, and Welcome to the forum! Anything you can cook fast on a stove top you can cook slowly in a crock pit, is my motto! I just bought me a new huge crock pot to do stews in for get togethers. I hope to try it out this upcoming month for our FL GTG! Always brown any meat first, unless you want stuff that looks uncooked even though it is cooked!

I am cooking a Thai Chicken Thighs recipe right now in my crock pot. Includes chicken thighs, salsa, lime juice, fresh ginger, peanut butter and soy sauce.

Welcome
I lived in my fifthwheel for 4 years, loved it and I miss it but the economy forced me to put it in storage and move in with relatives.
But its not so bad, I'll have the car and rv paid off in no time at all.
My very favorite and easiest crockpot recipe......pour a half jar of spaghetti sauce in crockpot, drop in a few pieces of frozen
chicken, add the rest of the sauce and let it cook. :D thats my version of chicken catchatorri :D
