Hi Susan, and WELCOME!!
First of all, I am very sorry for the loss of your husband. And I am also proud of you for following your dreams to head out on your own with an RV!
I am Susan, too, known to all as Soos, Nasus, Nasoosie, or anything close to Susan backwards, and live up here in the Adirondacks in the summers in my trailer in the yard of a house where I lived while my kids were growing up. I have a GTG up here every summer, and hope you can make it here when you find the perfect rig for you.
This winter I will be hauling my trailer back to FL where I park it in my son's yard in St. Cloud----right near Melbourne! I also have a house in the Orlando/Sea World area, so spend my time between both places, as well as hoping to get out and explore a lot more of the wonderful FL campgrounds this year. I expect to be back in FL in early November, after I get some more quality time in with my new baby grandson who was born October 7th!
Perhaps we can meet somewhere between St. Cloud and Melbourne when I get back down there. I would love to follow you shopping for an RV, as I am always looking for a slide-in truck camper to use for short hops and to travel back and forth between here (Adirondacks) and FL.
You have found the perfect spot to meet some wonderful RVing women who love to celebrate life!
