Hello from a wanderer

Come on in and say hello.

Hello from a wanderer

Postby chalet05 » Tue Aug 30, 2011 11:10 am

Hi,
I'm Anita, a full-timer from Washington State and a member of ORS. I have a 5th wheel in Arizona for winters and travel with a slide-in truck camper during the summer. I'm currently in Pennsylvania.

I was widowed 8 years ago while we were full-timing. I hated having a house and yard and it took me 4 years to figure out I could get back on the road by myself.

I'll get photos on here when I remember how to do it!

Welcome to the forum, Anita. I've seen the pics of your truck camper at Soos' Ruckus, it's really neat. When you get a chance, I'd love to see inside pics. Join right in and post when you can. Safe travels.

Hi Anita,

I selected your name for my kid sister when she was born. Love that name. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the welcome!

Avalen, my Arizona 'home' is 35 miles east of Quartzsite on Hwy 60 - spot in the road with Harcuvar to the west and Salome to the east. It is in the middle of nothing and the big draw is ATV riding in the desert. I was drawn there because I like being away from towns.

Welcome from the Hillbilly State, formerly Land of Opportunity, now the Natural State (much more fitting)...you are one of the WRV gals who made a GTG before becoming a member. Some of us have yet to make a gtg. I might get my walking papers if I don't make the one here in ARK in October. Glad to have you with us...I'm sure Soos is green with envy over your camper  I have a 24' foot MH, works perfectly but I'm still waiting for an amphibious MH to come out :o Nancy

Welcome, Anita! 'Bout time. Your adventures will be enjoyed on this forum by those who aren't already familiar with them on ORS. See you in PA.
