Welcome Sharon! We've been leaving the light on for you a long time. It's still on for all who care to join us. Now I'm going back and click on your link for the trailer thing yo use for the scooter...that sounds interesting.

I always seem to be the last one to welcome people, but never better than late. Sorry, Beth was talking to me, but you know what I mean. Beth and I have only about 5 more days here and then we start traveling so our posts should get more interesting. Looking forward to your posts.

If I should decide to tow my next scooter, I think this is a great option - love the idea - and like it better than you're using it and can give a testimonial. The fact that it stows away makes it even better. My question is - do you feel it's sturdy enough for the thousands of miles I put on a year? Their website seems to believe so - but I'd like your opinion, please.

I love how Sparkle likes to blame me for nearly everything - I think I slowed her down here by maybe 1 minute LOL

Hi Bethers,

I do feel it's sturdy enough, especially with the D-rated 8 ply tires and the scooter chock that holds the front wheel in snug. There is no suspension in the trailer itself, it uses the bike's. So as long as you keep the tires at 90 psi and have a spare, it should last a good long time. I've only personally towed it on a 3 hour round trip so far, but I have read numerous accounts on scooter and cycle forums of those who haul them all over long distance. I'll be able to tell you more next summer when I travel the Northwest :)

Sparkle and Bethers, where are y'all heading off to for winter this year? PattyK, I was wondering if you made it safely and were enjoying Big Bend, thanks for checking in :) I trust you're taking pictures ;)

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes :)

Love,
Sharon

Hi Sharon and welcome aboard!! So happy to have you join us.
I remember when you first bought your Roadtrek I was so excited for you and of course was a bit envious as I love the Class B's.
Enjoy your stay in Texas, how nice that you have Karen nearby.

Shaon,
I've been having some problems with my 'puter but want to say - glad to see you joined us also. I knew you and Karen would get along. How long are you staying in Kerrville? I'll be going to Port Aransas for a month sometime in January want to come play at the beach?

Hiya Kellie!

I'll be here until the end of June, then take the summer off to travel the Northwestern states. I'd love to come down for a weekend to visit and play at the beach! Just let me know when and where :)

Love,
Sharon

Dang it, had written a lengthy reply, went to do something else - and came back to finish it - and my computer had gone to another screen - all by itself :)

Thanks for the info - good to know when I do anything next - will keep in mind.

Sparkle and I are hanging around AZ till mid-Dec when we'll head down the Baja Peninsula - I want WARM this winter :) Not like right now where it's cold and snow on the ground and I put in my slide. Anyway, we are then headed to TX where we have reservations for the month of March in Port Aransas. So, it would be good if anyone could come down there during March - or possibly we could meet up with some the very start of April before we're heading out of TX. Think about it :)

If you'll be in the Pacific NW - how long? We'll be heading back from AK that way next fall.

Hi Sprinter, I've got a sprinter too...Its a Winnabago ERA built on the 24 ft Sprinter. I absoultly love it. It's such fun to drive and so cozy inside. The gas milage is what really sold me but I love everything about it. Glad to hear of other Sprinter lovers I really don't see too many on the road. I had to come home to Juneau so my little rig is stored up in Tucson right now.

Enjoy Texas its a good time of year to be there! :)

Bethers, I'm sure a visit can be arranged when you get here :) Gtg's are so awesome and it's been a long time. You were my mentor when I first began this journey back in PA, and I will never forget you getting me a site at your park and poking fun at me for putting out my awning. LOL!!! Would love to see you again :) My travel plans for next summer are all in jello yet. All I know is I want to make a big ol circle up through Colorado, over to northern CA, up to WA, across to Monatana and back down again to Texas for next winter. I love it here! I shoulda been a Texan all along ;)

Jayme, it's nice to meet you :) Those Eras are sweet! It sounds like you are enjoying yours as much as I am mine. I chose the short sprinter of 19' so I can park in a regular parking space. People ask me all the time how I can live full time in mine. It's for all the reasons you mentioned, and I'm still content after a year on the road :) I don't need anything BIGGER.

Love,
Sharon

I agree with you, Sprinter, I could easily full-time by myself in my B too. Simple needs, I guess.
