If you end up penniless under a bridge just think of what a beautiful home you'll be in under that bridge!

(Oh, and I sometimes park deliberately near/under bridges - so I've already been there.)

Welcome from SoCal! You'll do fine..you've already imagined what the worse case scenario would be and you're still going forward, so that's a good thing. Onwards and upwards! Hope to see you on the road. Oh, and one of our members is a traveling nurse..maybe you could join something like that and work where you want to.

Welcome. My friend owns a medical coding/billing business. She is so inundated, she tries to convince me to stay here and go partners. With the boomer generation fast approaching "elderly", healthcare seems to be the field with lots of opportunity. My most recent job was Controller at a healthcare start up. I worked from my motorhome using GoToMeeting, Skype, etc.

Keep looking. Think creatively.

I am going full time as well. My Ram Promaster is to be delivered in two weeks time. Then the fun begins because it is an empty cargo truck/van. I have a blue print of where I want what so we shall see. I am retired so money is no problem as I live real cheap. As well, intend to continue my hobby and sell some goods (see blog - grandmaverick.net/). I am selling a house in AR which well help me be free to go and come as I wish. My second son is the one who started talking to me about RVing. He wants to see more of me for a longer time as do his children, and his children's child. Keep in touch as to how it goes. Welcome Tracie :D Absolute "positivity" on this forum! No room in our RV lives for negativity, which is common amongst our relatives   I have no husband, no children, but still got it from my own brother! He now will be hitching a ride to FL with me & my three dogs in my small 17ft Roadtrek!!! Eventually they come around   Happy & safe travels! 8-)
