Glad that Women RV is doing. About 7 years ago I started a website called womenwanderlust.com. The purpose was to have a forum and articles written by me and others about our experiences traveling alone, or with others. The point was to help women to feel more comfortable traveling alone. You are welcome to visit my site and make comments. I like the forum style that Women RV has - especially the GTG. So I'm hoping to have lots of fun here sharing my traveling experiences in my beautiful PW (PleasureWay for those of you that are not informed this is the Everest of Class B motorhomes in a small convenient wrapper). All I can say now is that my deck needs fixing and I'm not sure where I want my next adventure to take me.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again.

Welcome, Linda. (I saw your name in another post.) They're telling me the deciding and planning is half the fun. How about telling us a little more about yourself... like whether you have animals for traveling companions, a favorite trip, or how long you've had the PW.

I'm brand new to RVing - in fact I'm picking up my first rig tomorrow. She's a new Greyhawk motorhome, 29' long and beautiful. I've already named her Joy. She and my furbaby, Tucker, will have time to get to know each other at the Oregon GTG.

You can check out the two "sticky" posts (the two at the top with the lightbulb icons) under Maintenance/Tech Issues for help getting your picture up there where it says "user's avatar." That will also help all of us know you a little better too.

Meanwhile be aware that all these posts are open to the public. People cannot go to the member bios unless they're registered, but anyone can lurk and read. Therefore you might want to go to your Northern CA GTG post and edit out the phone number. I think if members want to get in touch with each other off the forum, they start with a PM (private message) to the other person.

I hope this feels helpful, as intended, and not critical. I really am glad you've joined. You sound full of hopeful energy and a positive outlook. :)

Hello Linda, I am also new to this group. i truly love everyone of the ladies I have met on the forum and think you will as well. I do not have my first RV yet, I am working with the manufacturer to get what I want and with the help of these ladies, it will be a dream coach. A small dream, but a dream none the less.

Looking forward to reading about your travels and getting to know you better.

I hope you can see my picture of me and little Lily Isabella Brown. She's the best. Ok, let's see. Weve got Swansonia, cpatinjones, Roadweaver,Bird by Bird, and Ellenw. I am very happy to meet your acquaintance  I want to have a G2G soon as my van is collecting leaves and needs a bit of a run.Anyone interested in goint to the beach, Mendocino?? It is so darn hot here lately I'm thinking beach would be great. I have scoped out many spots as you go up the CA coast on Rt 1 before it jags inland up by Humbolt. There are some really great group campsites that are inexpensive and have a great view. Let me know. I know this takes time.

Pictures have to be hosted on another site - such as Photobucket. You can read about it in the Maintenance Tech room if you need help with that.

I'm happy about your website, haven't got time to look at it now. Sounds like it's dealing with lots of the same things we are here - so, if as an active member you want to link to your website in your signature, that's fine. We, as a forum do not link to all the blogs, etc that many of us have.
