Hi, my name is Rita and I am brand new to this group. I feel so lucky to have found you! At the present time I am staying in San Rafael, CA at my sister's house. Drove my RV (1994 Coachmen Santara,Class C, 29 ft), out here from IA in December for the winter. Leaving to head back May 1st. Thanks for reading about me!

A big Texas welcome to you. What route are you taking back to Iowa? I was born in Ottumwa. You might find some of us to visit with on your trip home.

Thank you everyone for the welcomes!

Route: At this point I plan on traveling back on I80, but it depends on the weather at the time, otherwise I will take I40, just takes longer to get home, but I'm not in any big hurry. Visiting friends in Cedar Rapids, IA on May 13th.

Any alternate route suggestions?

Welcome aboard.....don't have any recommendations other than to check out the members map and PM anyone along the way. You never know what mini meetings can be made....just ask Carole!

Welcome Rita,
I live in the Kansas Cty area. Maybe we could find a campground in IA or KS & have a mini-GTG. I have a son in CA & my daughter will be heading out there shortly so I'd love to learn if you enjoyed your winter experience there. I can't do it yet, but in a couple of years I hope to split my time between here & there.... :D
Hope to meet you down the road.
