Hi, Donna, welcome. I used my 2005 GMC cargo van for camping until I got it set up for towing my small travel trailer. I had a foldable foam mattress for a bed, sleeping bag, a portapotty, a 12v cooler, a 5 gallon Coleman water cooler, a 12v/AC chargeable lantern, a battery/AC operated radio, a heavy gage extension cord for plugging in at campgrounds, and a Golden Retriever as a traveling companion. Had a ball!
Have fun.

Welcome Donna, I'm sorry you must put your original plans on hold but many of us know about caring for our elderly parents. Good for you to keep your dream alive by improvising, another thing we are all pro's at. Stay posted and ask anything and that means anything...the rest of us do.

Welcome, Donna. You introduced yourself as I was getting ready to leave for the Northwest GTG and I'm still not back in the swing of things. I can see you've already made many posts, so I say good for you for jumping in here. I'm glad you're here.
