Wow, Pirateland in the middle of their busy season - you'll have kids and family all around. I tend to ignore that now that I can go places any time, but for others it's exactly what the doctor ordered.

Glad to have you with us and look forward to seeing you here often, and hopefully meeting on the road sometime.

Welcome, Sherry.

My mom and sis live in GA, so I may retire there some day as well.

Welcome aboard. So glad you found your way over here. Your enthusiasm comes right through the keys  If you are wintering down this way I imagine you will be meeting up with more than one of us!

Adding another welcome. Look forward to meeting you. If you are going to be in GA for the winter, you will have to plan to attend a gtg in FL - usually in Jan (no dates yet for 2013) but watch the gtg thread.
Also don't forget to check the forum map (and add yourself); it is first item under the general topic. Good way to see if there are members along the way as you travel.

Welcome, Sherry. Where in Canada are you from? All of my grandparents were Canadian, and I have some distant cousins up there (Bruce Peninsula, Burk's Falls, Fiss Settlement, and near Ottawa). I am thinking of spending a month or two in Ontario next spring visiting family sites. Would love to drive up to the Maritimes also.

I might also bump into you next winter as I also plan to spend the winter in Florida. I'm from Michigan and am definitely packing my heavy winter coat away!! No more freezing weather for me.
