Contacted Texas RV Supply to have the SMI Stay and Play installed in my new to me HHR. Talked with Tony Kading, Srv. Mgr. about the amount of time and price. Tony e-mailed me a quote with price and time. I took my car down the night before so I could avoid early morning commuter traffic. They told me it would take about 4 hours to complete the car. They called just about noon and said the car was finished and they were ready for me to bring the RV down for them to make the match with height, and final wiring to the rig. When I got there, John walked out to meet me....how did he know that was the rig....guess he recognized me behind the wheel. He worked with me to use some old parts and some new parts (had to drop the hitch 2") and then we did a test drive. They were all great guys, Tony, John and Zak. Well we were right on the quote but had to add the 2" hitch drop and 2 new locks.
Tony says anyone traveling in this area that needs anything, call them. If you can't get in, they will try to get to you. Texas RV Supply, 2211 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218, telephone 210.655.1761 or 1800.449.8787. On the net http://www.txrvsupply.com
I was very impressed with the operation and would use them again. It isn't "large" like a Camping World. It looks like a working shop. It is a small lot with a lot of work space and work going on. They also have some rigs for sale (used I think) and some on consignment. OKAY!! That's my story and I'm thinking I'm stickin' to it.
