I haven't read the book, but the documentary was on PBS the other day and I recorded it and have watched it twice.
I learned so much about turkeys.

I saw it on PBS the other night, and don't worry Barbie you would eat turkey again. It was very interesting but I had to wonder at a man who spent so much time with only turkeys for companions.

Someone has to have the patience and interest or we wouldn't know much about our planet. I don't think many of us could stand our own company for a year at a time without any other human contact, tho.

I also saw that on PBS. A fun show. I wonder how much he got paid for that? Or is he wealthy enough that he didn't have to work for all that time?
