Thought some of you might find this of interest. From the Mar/Apr 09 issue of AARP magazine.
"More than 8000 libraries world wide allow patrons to remotely download digital audio books for free and without penalties. New OverDrive software lets you transfer online files to your personal media players and burn CDs. When the titles are due, they expire automatically from your player; other readers can then borrow files, making fines obsolete. Search .overdrive.com to find.

Definitely have to go here - sometimes I love a good 'read' while on the road. I have satellite radio with all of it's great programs, but I find in this retired stage that I have less time to read and I really like to do that. Thanks so much for the link! :!:
