murder mysteries which I love! Protagonist is a forensic anthropologist. Lives alone on a remote section of the English coast. Her good friend is a policeman in the small town nearby. Read six of the series so far, and am sorry to be nearing the end of the series. The Crossing Places is the first one.

I don't know how I missed this when you posted last summer, Lyn! I love this series. She creates the most interesting mix of problems and personalities -- and in such a wonderful location, too. It's hard to pick a favorite book -- but I love the way she used the wooden henge; one was actually discovered along that coast when the sea temporarily receded about 15 years ago.
