This is a true story...The Waiting by Cathy LaGrow. It is one of those books that I stayed up reading until it was finished. Several pictures too, from the family albums.

A 17 year old unmarried girl gives up her daughter for adoption in 1929. Then yearns for her for the next 77 years. The story tells the story of the 17 year old and the daughter she gave up.
