Maxie and Stretch books by Sue Henry

Postby JoanE » Tue Jul 19, 2011 7:53 pm

Have you read her books? Maxie, a 60+ woman and her dog Stretch are traveling from Alaska to the lower states in their Minnie Winnie solving mysteries as they go. My cousin recommended the books when she heard that I would be doing the same (except for solving mysteries). I've read two of the series in three days. Very quick and light reading. I did not know the ending to the mystery before I reached it, so that is a plus in my book.

I love Sue Henry's books and for me, of course, the dachshund sidekick is a big plus. I keep waiting for another one to come out.

I read two of Maxie and Stretch series and enjoyed them. She also has another mystery series revolving around a female lead that has a dog sled team. These books are also enjoyable reads, being quick and light. Linda
