I don't know how to classify this book. It is what I would normally call easy, quick reading. It is quite entertaining and I'll look for more Fern Michaels books that have the Sisterhood as central characters. I may have to go look for some previous books.
This book involves a couple of lawyers who help couples with adopting children. Specifically, the male donates sperm to a surrogate mother. Later, the mother demands more money or the child back and usually gets the child back. Another attorney, friends with the first one, then brokers a second adoption. Now the sisterhood, has quite a cast of colorful characters. I wasn't able to figure out how many ladies are in the sisterhood, and if or how they are related. But their job is to right the wrong and make the wrong-doer pay, in this case both financially and by ??????????? - you gotta read it to find out.
This is on 3 CD's and again I'll hand it off when I meet up with someone who needs a good laugh and a little entertainment.
