This is a new book by John Kats called "Going Home" about losing our animal companions.
Might be a good book for all of us to read.

My 23 yr. old granddaughter just held her beautiful, 11 yr. old American Huskie while the vet put her down following a sudden illness. Alex plans to bring Lily's ashes to a special lake in CO soon, but is grieving for her "baby," so I'm hoping this book will help. Thanks, Cheerio
