It was a 'no-brainer' that I attempt to draw my granddaughter...

I also wanted to see what I could pull off with Water Color Pencils- since my husband so graciously bought an expensive big set for me and I barely touched it.
I think Water Color Pencils will be a medium I fall back on during our travels, if I'm in the mood / inspired to DRAW. It's fun and flexible and CLEAN. You can keep it in pencil form or add water and it becomes watercolor.

I'll see if I can find a better image of it...

My husband and I worked together on this one- the butterflies were my idea.

Sculpture I made of my husband making a funny face.
Here's the finished product, but I prefer what it looked like during the clay phase... will attempt to find images of it then and edit them in.

My make-up I did for Halloween 2 years ago. Wish I had a better image; got a lot of compliments on the sculpture shading.

and they were supposed to work well individually as well as a set

Wonderful things to look at all. I applaud your enthusiasm to respecfully conquer so many mediums. I especially love the photography in the zoo...really lovely. But of course the creations from your own mind through your own hands is always the most impressive...Now, I have to buy myself some watercolor pencils....
