That is beautiful! I can crochet, but only triangles. It keeps getting smaller & smaller til my square becomes a triangle. Well, I guess I'll take that back, I can't crochet. I love afghans. My grandmother made tons of them & they always remind me of her.

thats beautiful! does not look like crochet, and to get that "X" looking area on there
just amazes me. I can only crochet straight stuff.

That's really beautiful. Thanks for sharing - and boy, your mom is going to be staying warm in style.

Ooooooooooh Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh crochet??? Yup yup yuppers, I can do crochet...do you have a pattern you can share with me?
Looks like it would take forever to make a large blanket though. You don't gain much coverage with single crochet. :)

Cricket, that's one of the prettiest afghans I have ever seen! Is that black yarn between the colors, or spaces? If it's yarn I would DEFINITELY love to try that pattern. If it's spaces, it would be too cold for us to use up here in the north country! But, it would STILL make a fantastic cover for a sofa!

How do I send her my email address safely, Beth? I need to post it in the private room, yes? And hopefully, Sheila has the password and can get in there? I'll go put my email address in there now. OR...do you need my post office address, Sheila?

This is one afghan I would LOVE to make!

I'll pm, whatever that means, if I can figure out what it is and how to do it!

I have answered some messages I have gotten, but never initiated one. How do I do that?
