Some of you have been requesting pictures of some of the little wood signs that I keep saying I am making, so here they are. Nothing fancy, just something to putter with and I have to admit, not always exactly as perfect as I would like them to be. And no, I am not a freehand artist. I find and use templates on them and color in with craft paints.

Sue, good job. What rewarding projects. And I believe we are our own worst critics. They look perfect to me.

Okay, but those are mostly winter signs. :) :) Do you have the "lets go kayaking in the lake" signs for summer travel ready?

Sue, your signs are really adorable. Definitely need more spring/summer signs, especially after this winter. Would you also consider adapting your signs to fit the front license plate on a vehicle for states that only have one plate? They could be seasonal, holiday themed, one for each month, hobbies, etc. Many possibilities and ideas out there. Just a thought. Linda

Those are really good, Sue!

The 'Winter Welcome' made me grin, though. For years, my father put one of those webbed beach chairs, the recliner type, in front of the barn every fall. He put a roughly-lettered sign on it that read 'Think Spring!' There it stayed, while the snow piled up around it . . .

Thank you for the nice comments ladies. I guess I tend to do more winter signs cause it's that time of year when I am doing them and by the time spring rolls around, I'm doing other stuff and not in mood. But yes, I do need to make summer ones. I have a spring one but forgot to take it's picture as it's outside right now. Will have to remember to do it and post.

Linda, like that license plate idea. Might just experiment with it as well as make some for camping etc. Also going to start some campsite occupied type signs. Just got a woodburning kit and am going to play with that. Might be fun to learn something different.
