Saw this product in a Sur La Table catalog. Did a little research online and decided it sounded like a good product for me in my rig. I've only made three things in it but it is super easy. Tonight I had vegetable layer stacks made with eggplant, potato, zucchine and diced tomato. Add herbs and parm cheese. Put it in the steamer basked, throw it in the microwave for 15 minutes and it is done. Made pasta and veggies last night by putting all ingredients in basket, adding water and in several minutes it was done. For dessert I made a baked apple in it with cinnamon. Very handy. Because it is made from silicone, it can also be used in the oven. I bought the small size but there is a larger one too.

Joan, do you have a link?

ON EDIT: Just went to the store and couldn't find the product, both your full description and just the first 3 words.

Try www.lekuecooking.com. It was featured in the most recent Sur La Table catalog and my local store had it in stock. $30 plus they gave me the Beginner's Survival Cookbook for free.

You have the one that is horizontal? I like the idea of the collapsible one since I don't have a lot of storage space.

Yes, I have the small horizontal. The silicone is very flexible. You can also eat right out of the container after your meal is cooked. One caution. Due to the soft flexibility of the silicone, I place mine on a plate for easier removal from the microwave. I have not used it in my oven yet.
