Just bought a little one from Walmart on sale for $25. Could even toast marshmellows over it and its small enough to pack in a compartment easily.

$25????? Do you have a brand? YIKES, that's cheap! Does it hook up to the 20# bottles?
In the camping equipment department?

Well, I know one thing, I wouldn't want to be sitting across the fire from that cave man,,,, :o

Okay, question: Is the gas just to ignite and the real logs or are the logs fake too?

Check out Walmart garden dept. They were $48 and on sale for $25. Its only 16" high, uses the little 1 lb propane bottles and comes with lava rock for the "dish". Cute and easy to store.

Here it is with the cover - a real duh moment. Who the hell started a fire without taking off the cover.

Isn't it cute? You could toast a marshmellow on it.

Door closes in front so you don't see the bottle.

Great picture of my hookups in the background, huh?

Thanks for posting those pictures. Can't beat it for $25! And it could be adapted to use a bigger bottle! I'll be headin' to Wallyworld tomorrow!

And, about your hook-ups...

I see electric (blue)
I see water (white)
I see cable (thin black)
I see another blue????
I see a thinner black???

that is cute. It has a lava rock that goes on top?

Cool blue power cord! Is the other blue in the back a hose? One blue and one white?

2nd blue hose is a 2nd water hose which runs under RV so I can water my plants on the other side and fill my birdbath. What looks like cable is actually a 110 extension cord for my lights and ice machine. I have satellite.

One of the neat things about the propane campfires is that you can burn them in areas with burning bans.
And if it's a late night and you don't want to stay up long, you can just turn it on and turn it off!
