Has anyone tried this little gadget yet? If so, how'd it work for you?
Online reviews are mixed.
I plan to get 2 tomorrow (buy one, get one free coupon).

I have purchased this.. but haven't used it yet... We've had so much rain .. not able to really enjoy our back yard.. but when I do I'll give a shout ! Oh and I'll make sure I mention it in the Breakfast Room too...

Love all them gadgets.. I'm addicted to them ! I see something that looks interesting.. Zap I order..!!

Did you get it at Walmart? The only other place I have available is Lowe's...don't know if they'd carry something like this! I can't wait to hear a real-life test!!! Almost makes me wish we had mosquitos around here! (not!)

I tried one this weekend. I was getting bit less than those who had on insect repellant. I'll give them a thumbs up.

I'm going to look at Walmart for those. I go without bug spray even when I shouldn't often - cuz I hate using it. If that works at all, would be better than using nothing, especially when hiking. I've been lucky this summer - not getting bites, but I'm sure now that I've said that, it'll change.

Do you only use it once? Or is it reuseable?

Okay...I don't know how they would work for hiking. I was pretty stationery around the campfire. Read the directions because if I remember correctly it says that if you move you have to give it time to "catch up". They cover a 12' radius and are suppose to last up to 12 hours. The "refill" is good for 14 days after you open it and put it in the clip. Also uses two AA batteries which are included. I agree it beats spray...for some reason I always end up tasting that stuff or getting it in my eyes!

Yep, Beth, be careful when you brag about not getting bit. I posted about that in another thread and last night I got 4 in a row right at my waistline. Driving me nuts with my clothes rubbing on them!! Also got one on the elbow!
