LEDs Replacement Lights

I ordered a bunch of these to use while boondocking - they use WAY less juice from your battery.
In an overhead light, I put in two last night and they were too bright, so I took one out. Just right.
They fit a little tightly. I plan to ask my friend if there's anything I can do to "fix" that issue.

I've also ordered some "tower" LEDs for my front sconces.

Does these things replace the bulb only? I guess I always assumed when people talked about changing to LED lights, they were changing the light fixture.

Just the bulb.

I just finished fixing them all, including soldering the two broken wires, and they slip into the socket MUCH easier.
I like them a lot. Very happy with them.

Mitch, would you mind posting a link to the ones you bought? Don't know that we'd replace all of the bulbs in our trailer, but some in the more used lights would make sense.

Thanks!

I have replaced most of the bulbs with LEDs just on the fixtures I use most. Am happy with them and in most cases found I needed only one of the two bulbs in fixture. Nan's RV guy told me it is okay to mix the bulbs in fixture.

I've also gotten LEDs from ebay - but mine are the either 24 or 36 LED square panels. One thing you want to think about is getting the warm white LED. The regular white LED is really blue light.

I paid less than that - can't find the link right now to who I purchased from.

I have replaced many of mine over time - and in many fixtures only use one bulb. In the couple where I work/read, I use both. Love them. And I only changed the bulbs - not the fixtures -

Searched on our forum, found my link to where I purchased, and they now direct people to another place to purchase - found the ones I got there:

Beth, was yours $16 for one? (I can't find a quantity on your linked page).

Yours have 10 LEDS. The ones I got have 24 LEDS, although I can't find the output lumens on mine. (my page shows Luminous Flux and I haven't a clue...)

Mine work out to $1.12 each piece.

I would like to clarify how I had to "fix" each piece.

The two wires coming out of the white plastic base were bent very sloppily. Since my friend never answered my email as to what I could do to rectify the too tight fit, I looked at the bulbs with a magnifying glass and saw what the problem might be. So, I took a pair of needle nose pliers and squeezed the wires into their channel much more tightly and more flush. Now they slip into the socket quite easily.

I'd do that again at $1.12 each! :)

I think I mentioned that the original fit was so tight, pulling two out resulted in ripping the solder joint off on one of the wires. I resoldered each and now they, too, work just ducky.

I got the one I did because it was the suggested size to replace my size bulb. I think I got some smaller ones, too.
I don't understand how you are pricing them. You're Ebay link shows over $20 each?
