Has anyone seen this? http://www.coated.com/helmet-hummingbird-feeder/

Watch the video, it's neat!

I don't know that I could use it without flinching when they were zooming all around or fighting over the feeder like they sometimes do.

You must be bored today. That thing is weird and don't know if I could sit that still.

I wouldn't be able to see a thing that close to my face, but it is a fun thought.

HA !! I'm way behind in posting a reply to this, but I just saw it and think it's a hoot !!! What a crazy invention !!!
It'd be fun to see the little darlings up that close, but I think you can just sit in a chair next to the hummingbird feeder and they'll come around, they get pretty tame once they're used to you.
Fun stuff !

I've seen it ... very strange. LOL. I'd probably try it ... I love hummingbirds.

I think I'd go cross-eyed with them up that close, but I may have to get one for my sister...she works hard to keep feeders from freezing everytime it gets really cold up in Seattle; brings in the bottles, thaws them, and puts them back out all day. She is NEVER without hummingbirds. She just might like this helmet thing! :D

Here are some winter hummingbird feeder tips. Up in Illinois, we had heated bird baths for the winter.
We didn't have hummingbird feeders, so I never thought about them freezing.

Gee Mitch, I know you're old and slow, but did it really take you 5 1/2 months to come up with that?

Hell, NO. You're still boring - 5 1/2 months later...
(aw, come on - this woman doesn't have a boring bone in her body...I just like to be mean to her because she's always so mean to me FIRST.)
