Light Switch

Postby retiredhappy » Sun Sep 07, 2008 1:57 pm

I have my awning lights up and they're plugged into the outside electric plug on the RV. My problem was that I would go to bed and then have to get up, go outside and unplug the lights. Pain in the butt. Saw this switch on TV. You plug a thingy into the wallplug, plug your light into the thingy. You also have a wireless light switch that you can put inside your rig by the bed and voila  , you can stay in bed and turn out your outside lights. I'm sure you've seen the ad, a woman has to get up from bed and walk across the room to turn off her light. I always wondered why she didn't just plug it in by the bed?

Did you buy this off the TV ad or did you find one at a local store? Price?

DH bought a gadget off the TV and somehow the shipping and handling cost more than the product.
