Silicone, I love it!

When silicone kitchen items first started appearing in stores, I really had my doubts as to their usefulness, but I am a convert. I only have a few items so far with a tie for favorite being my sunflower pot cover and my Lekue steamer. The sunflower pot cover hangs on my wall near the stove top looking very festive and pretty but quickly does the job if I need a cover on a stove top pot. I also have silicone ice cube trays and nesting bowls. All of these are also easy to store, take up less room and do not rattle when I am traveling.

Today I found this cute little gadget. From the reviews it appears it does a great job and has all the other great attributes of silicone products. Meet the tea kettle.
