Last Tuesday of the Month

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Last Tuesday of the Month

Postby Irmi » Tue Jan 29, 2013 9:08 am

Good morning from Hillsborough River State Park!

It's very mild here this morning. We woke up to 66 degrees and it'll get into the mid 80's today. Another gorgeous day in paradise.

We've been keeping busy with the group in the FL GTG. Between breakfasts and dinners, no one is going hungry. There are lots of hiking trails here, so many we'll walk some of them today. Tomorrow we'll be heading back to the campground in Ocala to spend the rest of the winter. Have a good day everyone and please stay safe.

So glad I had a chance to sit with you and Steve on Sunday. Thank you for the hospitality you showed to me and Mandy.

Enjoying seeing the pictures from the FL GTG and now the mini GTG in Tucson. I'll have to go back and visit the mission in Tucson now.

Going to have storms tonight blow through - those in LA look out - looks like you will get the brunt of it.

Well, back to work.

Good Morning,

So very happy to see you at the GTG, JoanE and now your posts!!

We took the RZR out yesterday dressed warmly, but the wind came up and we weren't dressed warm enough!! So far no wind today and we plan to go out again. Thanks to weather, etc., we haven't done the exploring here I had hoped, but we may be coming back.

Kerry, Donna and I are still at the AZ GTG site. Kerry and I met outside yesterday morning and were both apologizing for not having seen each other. No worries, lives are busy!

Everyone have a grand day!

Good morning to All - We have some delicious coffee from the coffee plantation in Aticama and lots of bread from the bakery in Malpica - and the sun is up in the blue sky. Can't ask for more. Well except to turn the Mexican TV station down- the morning show is on and the anchors are exercising - with much laughter.
Yesterday we went to La Noria again and then to one of the neighborhoods in Mazatlan so Bill could buy hides. Like we need more. He put them in the back outside under compartment right under the bed. So everytime I'm in bed is get a craving for meat. Finally figured out I could smell the hides. He'll have to wrap them today or I'll be craving meat until we get home.
Been reading the GTG blogs etc. Looks like everyone is having a grand time. Sure sound fun.
No plans for today but that doesn't mean anything - something will probably turn up.
Everyone traveling be safe and hope the weather where you are is decent.
Friday night here is the Art Walk and on the 7th Carnaval begins -

Good Morning from strange weather Normal... it will be 60+ today... go figure... maybe this is a good winter to be home...
Today will be a day to fold laundry and try to blow more air into my sleep number bed... I have had it for several years and love it... but lost a small sealing ring so have to cap it off when not blowing it up...
How many are at the Fl GTG has anyone done a head count?
Take care

Good morning everyone. We have the colder weather back now for the next few days. DH feeling better. We both slept late, had a brunch at the CG restaurant then another rest and now going out for a little exploring and grocery shopping. DH has admitted that it is difficult to overcome the desire or need to be doing something or touring all the time. He admits that he needs to slow down and tell himself it is OK to just hang out and relax. And you don't have to be sick to have a reason to just relax and nap. :P I'm sure everyone finds their own pace of travel, sight seeing and relaxing. It will take us a few more trips to figure out ours.

The Florida gtg sure is having fun. Love the pix and the smiles. We are planning to be in FL in December and will stay at the Fort Wilderness campground for at least a week. Chalet05 will be there the first half of Dec. so we are trying to get dates that will coincide with hers :P Will probably spent Xmas in Orlando area with family. So maybe we can have a get together in that area in mid Dec?? Wonder how many ladies plan to be in FL for next winter???

Everyone have a great day. Stay warm and stay safe. Aloha y'all
